Lenovo U430p Laptop Computer

The Lenovo IdeaPad U430p gets the best mobility mark of all notebooks at the present time. The battery life is very good and compared to other devices it's a true lightweight. On top of everything the price-performance ratio is excellent as well. Under office conditions it reaches a magnificent result of 11:33 hours. Only the Acer Aspire E5-521-63U8 holds out a quarter-hour longer. Therefor the 15.6 inch Acer weighs about one pound more than the Lenovo IdeaPad. The IdeaPad U430p weight of 3.7 pound is on the other hand pretty much ideal. Even the other 14 inch laptops have in most cases a higher weight.

Apart from that the Lenovo doesn't really stand out in any category and offers for the most part a common notebook. It comes off best at ergonomics: 1.1 sone maximum noise pollution is a superb value. In addition to that the metal case offers a noble design and the pleasant keyboard allows fluid tapping.

The anti-glare display with 1.366 x 768 pixel resolution and a pretty weak maximum brightness isn't too impressive. On the other hand the equipment inclusive the Intel Core i5-4210U with integrated graphic unit, 500 GB hybrid hard drive and 8 GB of internal memory are very formidable.

No other notebook with this kind of performance and equipment is this low priced. It's already available for the price of $650 and therefor gets a great cost-benefit ratio from us. With this the new IdeaPad would be a good choice for those users who appreciate long batter life and at the same time for those who don't want to pay for an expensive high tech notebook.
