Asus Zenfone 5 Smartphone Review

With the Zenfone 5 Asus expends its smartphone assortment for a high performance 5 inch entry level model. In addition it offers very good features considering the price of this product. Some of the highlights next to the current Android 4.4.2 with ZenUI extension are a LTE radio module, the HD display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution and a scratch proof surface made of corning gorilla glass 3, together with a good 8 megapixel camera. During testing the Zenfone 5 convinces with long battery life, low operating temperatures and fast reactions.

Those who play a lot of games with their smartphone, should probably keep their fingers of the Zenfone 5. At the current time the offered application and game performance is entirely sufficient, but because of the pretty weak performance of the graphic chip Adreno 305 their is not much room for improvement. The internal memory with 8GB is pretty limited itself and if we consider that actually there are only 3.7 GB free it is far from optimal.

Our conclusion about this smartphone is still positive. The Zenfone 5 was presented with the Design Award and as a entry level device it's price is hard to beat. While testing it shows only a few weaknesses.
