Acer Extensa 2509-C052 Notebook Review

The Acer Extensa 2509 classifies itself as an attractive offer notebook for office and Internet work. The acceptable input devices and the mat display makes sure that these notebooks work very well for their purposes, considering their prize. Buyers of this product will have to allow for some decent lack of performance. This refers to waiting periods with inputs and applications. The good thing with the Acer Extensa 2509 is that the notebook within standard operation is always quiet and doesn't heat up too much. While testing this product we were quiet impressed by the volume of the loudspeaker.

Movie evenings on the Acer complicate themselves by the poor point of view stability. For mobile using the battery life can convince with 6.5h. Let us make a quick comparison with other notebooks so that we can see if the balance between the prize and performance has succeeded. The Packard Bark Easynote TF71BM appeared in the test as a dignified competitor. However, because of a bad processor performance this competitor had to abandon the field. The Lenovo B50-30 has lost in nearly all disciplines. However, it possesses maintenance flaps which were completely lacking for our Acer Extensa. The Acer Aspire E1-532 did show that one can also get a little more performance for the same price. A fly in the ointment is the decreased battery life (2.5h lesser than competition). After testing and comparing with many other notebooks in the same price range we have to admit that the Acer Extensa beats his competition by a small margin.

Altogether the Acer Extensa 2509 makes a solid impression for 270 Euros. In addition one should adapt his expectations according to the price.
